Well, I'm just remembering something that is actually a huge downside. If they implement 60 FPS for Mafia Definitive Edition, it will probably run as the downgraded Xbox One version, without One X optimizations. This is how FPS Boost works for Battlefield 1 and V, as an example. For most games, it's just a quick workaround. They all 3 were great imo, back in the day Mafia was something special on pc. Got several friends to play it & they all loved it. 2 was also really great, both 1 & 2 have the best stories imo. 3 was a lot of fun to play & cars & guns were done really well, story wise it's probably the weakest of the 3, but it deserves more than most say about it. When you buy mafia 2 or Mafia: Trilogy on steam, you get the original 2010 version of mafia 2 and the definitive edition remaster that came out 2 years ago. Verify the files in steam, might be that. If its still crashes, its either you have something wrong with your PC.. or the most likely, the game is just a mess, just like it always was. 5.The main idea of DE is about family which is Forever while friends come and go. This game is amazing! If you like Godfather and GTA, this is like Godfather theme made in the style of GTA. The city and environment looks thriving and beautiful and historic. The setting and atmosphere is so convincing. There are old style bars, cafes, grocery stores, factories, offices, apartments, Chinatown, little Italy, all over the city. Mafia 2.
